HOW TO: TAOBAO SHOPPING GUIDE

HI EVERYONE!

So since its the holidays already (throws confetti in the air*) and i have some time to spare, I am going to do up a Taobao shopping guide as I have been getting a few requests on it on my askfm.  So here goes!

1. Open up taobao in your web browser : Highly recommend you to use Google Chrome instead of your usual Safari or Mozilla Firefox

Wow wow, so many Chinese characters = complicated.. HELP?!

2. Now this is when Chrome comes in handy. Do translate the page to English (I have circled the area to click on for you)

Much better. Now click on where ever you would like to go to. I chose women's clothings.

3. Remember to set the budget for your clothes ok!

   To make it simpler for me, a rough guide I take is SGD $1 = RMB$5

The top on the right side is likea nice?! Ok i should stop shopping this taobao will suck your money out because everything is so CHEAP...

(well at least it sucked my money out so ya HAHA)

4. Now choose whichever clothing you want! I would go with this Stylenanda inspired dress.

$35? = SGD $7 HOLYYYYYYYYYYYY

*Clicks*

5. Remember to translate the page too + look for the reputation of the supplier at the right side of the screen + Look for reviews from other customers too

see the 5 crowns on the right.

Click on "baby details" to see the product info + above reviews

(Its a direct translation thus the English)

6. To check out the shop and its other items it sells click on the shop name which is above the crowns.

See the crowns on the top, it shows about the shop's reputation!

in ranking order from the lowest to highest.

1. Hearts

2. Diamonds

3. Blue crowns

4. Golden crowns (5 golden crowns are the best)

Click on "all baby" under all to see all their items

YAY!

How to add item to cart via an external agent.

Taobao actually does ship to Singapore but its more expensive as you have to ship each item from each store INDIVIDUALLY. Which would mean so many packages coming from different stores.

Instead of going through all that hassle, its better if you do it via an agent! Even though the agent fee is an extra 8% on total cost (Which is quite a small sum actually) , theyre really good as they will help you order and compile all your orders and repack into one parcel for you!

I only know of 65daigou and theyre really good as I always get my taobao stuffs through them!

so..............

1. Login with your 65daigou account or sign up :)

2. Adding your item to the cart by using the Ez-buy function

Just copy and paste the link

Translate + Choose your method of shipping ,and to which warehouse as well

Then just click add to cart!

This is how it would appear like after.

Just click check out if youre done shopping otherwise just repeat the steps!

Final Notes:

Thats basically it! Really easy right! Also for 65Daigou their parcels will arrive on the est arrival date

or earlier otherwise 30% off shipping fees! The first time i bought from them my parcel came a few days late so i had 30% off shipping which was really good!!
